Three Daddies

.
This girl has three daddies in her life. THREE! Could I be more blessed?

Today, on this special Day of the Fathers, I want to share with you about all three.

~ Daddy Uno ~

The very first Daddy that I ever knew of. MY earthly Daddy, Parker Agnew, is an unselfish, strong, compassionate, tender-hearted, passionate-about-the-Lord man who loves me - and I have never doubted it. Through any of my difficult times, I've always known that my Father was there - steady and strong - to listen, love, and fix it if he could. More often than not, though, he would give me his wisdom and help me to fix it, thereby teaching me about what it meant to be responsible for my actions. My Daddy took {and still takes} time with me. He would come home every day throughout my life and make time to sit with me discussing my day - joys, worries, anything at all. It didn't matter if it was something that could have been seemingly trivial to someone else. If it was important to me, then it was important to Him. My home growing up was a home of love, laughter, joy, dancing, singing, and goofy fun . . . and I couldn't even imagine it being any other way. I thank my parents for that . . . I thank my Daddy for his leadership in being the kind of man who lived {and lives} out His faith in front of me so that I would know what loving the Lord looks like. You are such a wonderful Father {and Grandfather} and I love you so much!

~ Daddy #2 ~

My faithful Will. My wonderful husband. You are the second Daddy that I highlight. I'm doing this job for someone else this year. My observations will be chronicled here on her behalf. She told me what to write {hehe} so I'll do my best to interpret it here:
"Daddy, you are such an amazing Father. I love having you come to get me every morning. You make me giggle and smile, and I just get so excited when I see you smiling at me. Thank you for taking such good care of Mommy and me when we're sick. Thank you for being patient and loving, and for showing me what it means to be a follower of Jesus. I'm so excited to grow up getting to learn from you about drawing, hunting, camping, being handy, playing sports and loving the Lord. You are a wonderful Daddy and I love you so much each and every day!"
                                                                                                             Anna Lyn

Will, I agree with everything that Anna Lyn said! You are such an amazing father and husband and I thank the Lord for you each and every morning! Happiest of First Father's Days!

~ The Third Daddy ~

Maybe I should have listed him as the first. He is the first Daddy on the list of priorities in my life. My Heavenly Father is the most important. He is the Lord God Almighty who could do anything, but He chooses to love me past my sin, cleanse me of it through His Son Christ, and claim me as His child. King and Creator, I am so thankful and blessed that I am His. I love you, Lord! Please bring me deeper still and make me more like you . . .

~ For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received
the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself
testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. ~ Romans 8:15-16

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL OF YOU FAITHFUL FATHERS OUT THERE!
