A Secret Addiction

Chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting. There, I said it.

It's really a problem, ok!? I am post-baby, and therefore I have the post-baby weight to lose.

To top it off, I have to go to a wedding in which I am a bridesmaid (not just attending, but A BRIDESMAID...) in April during Easter weekend.

SO it does not help that I am addicted to  "Hey There, Cupcakes!" cupcakes.

Nor does it help that one of my dear friends, Ashley, is the owner, because that means instant access.

Gotta stay away, but there's soooo good!

I mean could you, would you stay away from these? (I didn't mean for that to sound like Dr. Seuss.)

I know, me either...

Which is why I'm going to have to do some serious praying for self-discipline!! Oh mercy...

  1. I know they are fattening... but OH MY! I love them too! I am so thankful for Ashley!

  2. Oh, yes. It's a good thing she doesn't live down the street from ME. And I can relate to the bridesmaid crisis: I was in a wedding a month after Sam was born.

  3. look at you putting in a shameless plug for my cupcakes! too sweet : ) i'm glad they were delicious! at 32 weeks pregnant, i'm addicted to anything chocolate pretty much so i can relate! it doesn't help that i love to bake!

  4. yummo. i'm addicted to all sweets.

catching up a few posts back...

lauren winner - i've read a few of her books. so glad to know she's still writing. i really like her.

also i hope you are feeling better and healing. these postpartum months can get pretty discouraging ESPECIALLY if you are feeling down physically. i pray you are doing better.

  5. I have been out of town and internet-less! Crazy, I know. I'm glad that you all agree with the love of sweets!!
Em- mercy on the bridesmaid problem. Maybe I can get into the dress - maybe
SB- Thanks for your sweet prayers! I am enjoying Lauren's books. Another friend recommended Girl Meets God which I'd like to read as well. Having been praying for you, too, as your recuperate with your sweet little Laurie!
