Time?
"Time for what?" you may ask...
Well, it's almost time for that glorious season of the year.
My most favorite-of-favorites...
AUTUMN
Some call it Fall. Not I, sir.
{{ Technically }} it's already here. Arrived on September 22, 2013.
It's starting slow, but it's coming... Oh, yes it is!
Some telltale signs?
- There's a certain crispness in the air most mornings
- Scoot has started her leaf collection
- I, the mother, can stand to be outside for more than 10 minutes
- the Georgia National Fair is next week!!!! {more on that later}
- All of those gorgeous apples at the Farmer's Market... glory
Love it. Love every bit of it!!
Already, I'm planning our Autumn-related activities:
Hay-riding, smores-making, pumpkin-patching, leaf-pile-jumping, football-watching, chili-cooking...
I could {literally} go on for.....ev.....ah!!
Please come and stay for awhile Autumn. We miss you around these parts. Sometimes you get skirted by your friends Summer and Winter. I need the transition. You are my season of choice.

falling leaves and hay
pumpkins and chili all day

I can hardly contain my excitement either! It's glorious. Truly my favorite time of year. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't stand to be outside in the summer. I feel horrible bc I don't want to go to the park or even push my baby on the swing. It's too hot for this momma. Until now!!!!
