As I write this, I sit in my new house in a new town in a new state. It's seems like it's been such a long time since this sweet day occurred, but it was just a few short months ago! My my, how the Lord can change our plans so swiftly! I just have to trust His heart and hand for my {our} lives...

Well, my little love, you turned 1-year-old on December 30, 2011. Mommy woke you up in your sweet jammies and made you some Funfetti pancakes! You weren't quite sure what to do with them at first...
But then you figured out that they are really quite delicious!!
I will forever love footie pajamas, and I will keep you in them as long as you'll let me!
We had your party at the First United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Alabama.
That's where Aunt Gwen and Uncle Neal go to church.
Our theme: Bumble Bees!
Mommy made you a Bumble Bee cake...
Mommy also made you a Bumble Bee outift!
I have it saved for you, so that you can use it if you have a little girl one day.
Gigi and Papa came from Georgia.
Mommy and Daddy decorated with all types of treats.
Black and Yellow... very Bee
So many friends came to play!
And then, you tried your cake!
You weren't sure about it at first...
But, you warmed right up!
Pop, Coco, Uncle Ryne and Adrienne came from Mississippi!
Aunt Jan and Uncle Joe, Cousin Jennifer and Aunt Sus were there, too!
and, of course, Aunt Sarah had to talk to you about the cake!
It was such a fun day full of blessings!
Mommy and Daddy love you so much, Anna Lyn, and we thank the Lord
every day for the privilege of getting to be your parents. May you never forget, though, that the
Lord loves you the most of all! He created you to glorify Him, so just keep getting to know Him better and better each and every day! And please never stop being Mommy's busy Bumble Bee!
********************************
We're catching up, slowly but surely... stay tuned!
