This is such a sweet season of life, being surround by so many blossoming families! Our church Sunday school group just seems like be in the baby-makin' business! Not to mention that several of our close friends outside of church, as well as our community Bible study and Supper Club... are constantly having younguns'!
It's such a joy to see families grow, and as our little Stanford clan has added a new member in the last few months, I thought I'd take a look back at some of the fun and fabulous shower ideas and tricks that I have up my sleeve...
I've made quite a few! I love to make them,
and I REALLY DO look forward to the opportunity
when I get to make one for a new little one coming into the world!
A friend's shower for her sweet baby boy!
Our motto? Keep it simple and classy.
We went with yummy nibbles, cute decor, and fun fellowship.
The candy below:
I made it! And... it's super easy! You can find all of the
necessary equipment at Michael's or Hobby Lobby.
It's very inexpensive, and I think it's
so much fun!
What's a shower without cake?
I made these little beauties for
my cousin's shower in leu of a big cake.
Definitely need some
cute invitations, for sure!
And some classy decor!
Don't forget the tiny Southern sandwiches!
I've done several others showers, but all in all, I really believe that a truly successful shower needs very few ingredients. As long as the things that you have are infused with love, and the person is surrounded by people who care about them, then any shower is a bound to be truly meaningful!
