September post... Just a little late

So sorry that I didn't post in September. I'm still learning all about the wide world of blogging, but I wanted to share what the Stanfords were up to during the fun month of September!

In the past few months, I have become addicted to Talk Radio... Whether it's the local Morris and Montiel Show, or Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, I'm constantly listening! I've been so convicted to actually begin taking a real interest in the decisions that are made for our country, and begin taking action to try to make a difference myself. So... on September 12, Will, Mom and I participated in the 9/12 March on Washington, D.C. We left on Friday, and took a twelve hour bus ride to our nation's capitol! It was such a gift to be able to march with other people who have a like-minded view about the principles on which the United States of America was founded! Below are some of the pictures of the people and places that we saw on that day.

Also in September, Will and I got to travel to his hometown of New Albany, MS for the Riverfest Celebration! The Riverfest is a fun arts and crafts festival that takes place in downtown New Albany which is on the banks of the Tallahatchie River. It is always such a blessing and a joy to spend time with my new mother and father-in-law, as well as my sweet new brothers. The Lord has shown such grace and care in his provision for me. I could not have chosen a more wonderful group of people to have as the new family brought to me through my precious husband! Truly "the boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places..." (Psalms 16:6) I've added some photos below of our fun weekend! Notice that Tucker (our funny puppy) was tired after his ride in the backseat of mommy's convertible with the top down all the way from Alabama to Mississippi!
